REO UK to showcase its guide on EMI filters and share advice on high-quality power equipment at EMC and Compliance International
Power quality specialist REO UK will exhibit at the UK’s leading EMC exhibition, EMC & Compliance International, taking place at Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire, on May 16 and 17, 2023. REO will use the event to showcase its book on electromagnetic interference (EMI) Filters and share advice on using high-quality power equipment, such as electrical regulators and electrical controllers. To pick up a free copy of the book or to see some of the company’s power equipment in person, attendees can visit REO on stand 15 at the show.
At EMC and Compliance International 2023, REO UK will showcase its latest book, The Engineers’ Practical Guide to EMI Filters. This is the company’s 18th book and is written by Dr. Min Zhang, an associate of Cherry Clough Consultants and one of the speakers at this year’s conference. The book focuses on helping engineers understand the fundamentals of EMI and shares advice on how to design effective EMI filters, so that products like inductors, capacitors and resistors will conform with relevant EMC standards. The book will be available for free for all visitors to REO’s stand.
In addition to the book, REO’s stand will display various high-quality industrial electrical components used in medium-voltage power systems applications, such as in electric vehicles and wind turbines. These products include EMC filters, water cooling systems and chokes, which deliver good return on investment through lower energy consumption and increased product life. For example, REO’s latest generation of N CNW chokes and filters can reduce power loss by up to 25 per cent because of its reduced weight and single layer structure.
“EMC and Compliance International is the natural show for us to exhibit at and share knowledge from our book, The Engineers’ Practical Guide to EMI Filters,” explained Steve Hughes, managing director of REO UK. “Furthermore, the show gives us an opportunity to meet with new and existing customers and share expertise on subjects like designing EMI filters, simulating a component’s performance and any other issues related to power quality.”
At this year’s EMC and Compliance International, attendees can meet with Steve Hughes, managing director of REO UK, and Michelle Gillam, operations manager at REO UK. Attendees will also be able to enquire about REO’s ability to offer product modifications and bespoke designs that would best suit their business needs. To book a meeting for during the show, contact Michelle Gillam by emailing michelle@reo.co.uk or phone 01588 673411.
