At SPS 2022 in Nuremberg, REO AG will not only present numerous product developments from the fields of vibration conveyor technology and drive technology. The trade fair will also serve as the kick-off for the Mission:Zero – Save Resources with REO campaign.
“In order to achieve the goals of our ambitious Mission:Zero, we have examined our products and the productions at all REO sites in elaborate analysis procedures,” says Jennifer Baatz, Production Site Manager Kyritz about the new campaign to save resources and adds: “On this basis, we have already been able to implement significant improvements.” These include reducing the components used, the copper used and optimizing production. REO products have not only become smaller and lighter as a result. Optimized use of resources has also improved technical performance and reduced waste generation. A good example of this is the edge winding technology used by REO. This pioneering winding technology enables more efficient cooling performance, especially with forced cooling, thanks to its single-layer structure. Compared to conventional technologies, the weight is up to 10% lower, the dimensions smaller and the power loss reduced by up to 25%. The use of REO products is therefore not only good for the environment, but also ensures – especially in today’s world – reliable quality in the future.
However, the development of future-proof products at REO does not only focus on the optimization of products and the use of materials with regard to better resource efficiency. The networking of products or entire production chains is an important focus for REO’s developers. Therefore, the world’s most advanced control unit REOVIB MFS 368 will also be on display at SPS 2022. With its high compatibility to Industry 4.0, the REOVIB MFS 368 has set standards in energy efficiency and connectivity. Fellow board members André Kurzbach and Jörg Rohden will present the REOVIB MFS 368. Mr. Jörg Rohden will also explain in detail the possibilities of efficient and networked production within the framework of the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).
The presentation of the new N CNW series from the field of drive technology will round off the trade fair presentation. Philip Twellsieck, CEO of REO AG as well as the two board members Ms. Jasminka Usein and Mr. Sven Reimann are looking forward to a lively exchange with visitors about the current product range and future developments in drive technology again after the Corona years.
SPS in Nuremberg – Smart Production Solutions – (formerly SPS IPC Drives) is an international industrial automation trade fair for electrical automation, systems and components. From 08.11.2022 to 10.11.2022 about 1,100 exhibitors are expected. The REO AG booth will be located in hall 4 (booth 148) during the fair days.
